ITTF Eliminates Nigeria Female Table Tennis Players from 2018 World Team Championships.

On 3 January, 2018, it was announced that the International Table Tennis (ITTF) has eliminated Nigerian female tennis team from participating in the 2018 World Team Championships. It was reported that the elimination was because of their absence in the 2016 ITTF Africa Championships that took place in Morroco.

He went further to say that the championship was scheduled to kick off from April 29 to May 6, 2018 in Halmstad, Sweden; which will have Egypt leading five other African teams. The body confirmed the Nigerian Men tennis team and Egypt and other five countries for the 2018 World Team championships.
